“Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.” ~~Oscar Wilde
If there was one single place on Earth where all the talented, artistic people might congregate all at once, McMurdo Station might be it. I have commented off and on over the last four months of how I am constantly in awe of the amount of talent that is here at McMurdo. Whether it is interpreted by music, humor, or visual aids, this place abounds with artistic, creative talent. I thought I would try to share some of the unique talent that I have stumbled across down here throughout the season.
